We got a lot cleaned up today:

• Made the creator easier to follow: clearer navigation, red warnings, and a Finalize button that explains what’s missing.
• Improved equipment choices: previews show gold and carrying weight, with clear amber/green states for pending versus applied choices.
• Added descriptions for all 18 skills and 84 starting spells.
• Made physical characteristics required before finalizing, with a Male/Female gender dropdown.
• Cleaned up the Finish page: capitalized labels, grouped details into columns, improved the printable layout, and made the attribution smaller.
• Fixed completed-character editing: physical details now prefill correctly, additional appearance notes stay separate, and saves update the public description.
• Split Personality, Faith, and Ideals into individual fields, preserving existing text and giving the sections consistent styling.
• Fixed the stale logged-out homepage and extended Remember Me logins to 30 days.

We tested locally, ran the checks, and confirmed the updates live. The finalized starting records stayed protected throughout.
